OBAMA'S AUTOBIOGRAPHY

'Dreams of my Father 'was written by Bill Ayers. It's no wonder that it's so inconsistent. The Washington Times even did a linguistic analysis of it by running it through a concordancer and comparing it to Barack Hussein Obama's and Bill Ayers' writing and it had every marker of Bill Ayers in terms of structure and lexicon.

They also ran it through Pennebaker's Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count, which established that not only was it written disingenuously, but that the person who wrote it in the first-person couldn't have been writing about himself. Plus, it's chock-full of seafaring metaphors, as is everything that Ayers writes. Obama has barely even been on a boat.

It's damn near a slam dunk that old pal William Ayers wrote that book.

I HAVE BEEN HOPING I would never have to write this article. I hoped it would never get to this point, which would force me to openly speak out against the first African American to seriously have a chance to be elected President of the United States.

But after reviewing all the Stanley Kurtz material on Barack Obama/Bill Ayers relationship, I've come to the conclusion Barack Obama is definitely under the influence of a radical ideology that is so dangerous, it could literally pose a danger to the very existence of the United States, especially when we have an economy already in crises, and a war in progress against one of the greatest threats we have ever faced, in Islamic terrorism. I know Barack Obama. No I haven't met Barack Obama personally, but I know many African Americans like him. African Americans who were born in the 1950s and early 1960s who are now in their 40s and 50s in age. I am of that generation.

Our generation grew up personally witnessing the turmoil of the 1960's and 70's, which shaped our viewpoint of America. During the great civil rights movement of this era a very young radical element evolved and came into being in the Northern black communities of major cities of America.

This element I refer to did not embrace the nonviolent civil disobedience philosophy of Martin Luther King. In fact we ridiculed King's non-violent movement going on in the South. We wanted to meet violence with violence, and so organizations like the Black Panther Party, Student Non Violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) (which later renounced non-violence) and The Nation of Islam came into being in cities like NY, Chicago, Boston, and LA. Those times and organizations produced leaders like Malcolm X, Stokely Carmichael, Huey Newton, the dis-Honorable Elijah Muhammad, Bobby Seale, and others.

Read it all. There is understandably quite a firestorm sweeping through the comments section of Jazzman's blog. And then check out Urban Cure which is the brain trust of Star Parker, the founder and president of CURE, the Coalition on Urban Renewal & Education, a 501c3 non-profit think tank that provides a national voice of reason on issues of race and poverty in the media, inner city neighborhoods, and public policy.

Prior to her involvement in social activism, Parker was a single welfare mother in Los Angeles, California. After embracing Christianity, she returned to college, received a BS degree in marketing and launched an urban Christian magazine. The 1992 Los Angeles riots destroyed her business, yet served as a springboard for her focus on faith and market-based alternatives to empower the lives of the poor.

And if you are still unimpressed with the twisted logic this presidential campaign has presented the "average" American voter, take a listen to this short clip put together by the unflappable Howard Stern Show.

Now for something completely predictable on so many levels—starting with the redoubtable Obama himself—while he begins to deny his association with ACORN, here is what Obama proclaimed to ACORN in a November, 2007 speech, according to Newsmax:

“I’ve been fighting alongside ACORN on issues you care about my entire career. Even before I was an elected official, when I ran Project Vote voter registration drive in Illinois, ACORN was smack dab in the middle of it, and we appreciate your work.”

ROUNDING OUT THE USUAL SUSPECTS

HERE IS AN INTERESTING TAKE on how the not so cordial affairs of Presidential Campaign '08 are shaping up as we head down to the wire. It's welcome relief for most of us to occasionally step back from the abyss long enough to gain a more comprehensive prospective at what's going on around us, so to that aim, here's something from a website called Redstate, although I can't seem to find the original article on their site:

Don’t underestimate the McCain campaign. The polls are deceptive if not outright fraudulent in an election that is increasingly suspect, leading many to believe that the fix is in, that some players very high of the food chain (like George Soros and his Wall Street cronies) want Barack Hussein Obama to win.

What type of movie do Americans really like? Not the popcorn flicks, but the ones that leave you saying “holy sh–” at the end when the credits roll. The film Usual Suspects comes to mind.

Here’s a movie where you have multiple story lines coming together toward the end, all connected to a central character, and when it finally dawns on you what just happened, wow—it is one heck of a movie. Separate plot elements dramatically merge into one coherent narrative and you realize had you been paying attention all along you would have seen it.

It really works. Those stories have powerful staying power.

For more than two months Republican operatives have pushed the ACORN story—a corrupt, radical organization that operates through voter fraud to disrupt American democracy, destabilize our financial system, agitate against business, etc. Just this week the FBI State Attorney General raided ACORN in Nevada and discovered how prevalent their voter fraud operation is. The FBI is expected to get involved.

Separately, the GOP started painting a picture of Obama’s campaign donations. He’s been extremely secretive. In a bit of marxist doublespeak, the Obama campaign is saying it is the most transparent campaign ever, but won’t provide a list of its donors, destroyed Obama’s Illinois legislative files, won’t provide his health records, etc. The more we learn about his small donors, the more questions we have about foreigners trying to sway the American democratic system.

And then there is the McCain campaign. It has gone zealously after the Bill Ayers connection to Obama. Ayers hired Obama to run the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, after launching Obama’s political career in his living room.

Bill Ayers, in applying for the Annenberg Challenge grant, said the purpose of the money would be to radicalize students to agitate for change. Who did he put in charge of the program? Barack Obama.

Who did Obama give the money to?

ACORN.

And the separate plots begin to connect. The ACORN narrative, the Ayers narrative, the foreign donor narrative—they intersect, combine, tangle, and paint a very ugly picture of Barack Obama.

What Obama did on the board with the Annenberg money and what he’d do with your money come in to the narrative.

But I’m told there will be a surprise twist in this plot that will make it even neater to watch unfold. The next month is going to be tumultuous and fun. The October Surprise is that there is no “surprise.” It’s been in front of us all along. Only now the various story lines are getting connected.

That was an interesting analysis on what's happening on the ground as more bits of information slam the fan everyday in our bravado to hurl ourselves towards the abyss of November 4. We all sense that this is a very important election. It's you, and you alone in that voting booth. Vote your conscience, but please do take the time to absorb the unadorned facts before falling for superficial and slippery campaign rhetoric.

Don't be a zombie. Dig deeper than the shallow grave the corporate media has laid out for its consumers. Make your vote count for something more substantial than the utter destruction of America by a cartel of thugs and liars fanning the flames of dischord in a perfect storm of domestic and global forces aiming to bring America to its knees. Vote Country First.

DENYING THE OBVIOUS

STRANGER OBFUSCATIONS ABOUT ONE'S PAST have been floated, no doubt, but this sort of dishonest personality should not even be at the top of any major ticket in a United States presidential race.

THE SKINNY AGAINST BILL AYERS

Here is a chilling account of William Ayers from a woman who claims to have known him back in his bomb throwing days before magically transforming himself to become a sought after "educator" of our children. Published by Front Page.

I read occasionally of former Weatherman Bill Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn, both now not only accepted, despite their bombing campaign against America in the 1960s and 70s, but successful, establishment educators whose opinions on social issues are taken seriously. Every time I see Ayers’ name I shudder with fear and rage and realize that I will never be able to erase the mark he left on my life one evening 40 years ago.

It was at the Undergraduate Library at the University of Michigan on a Friday night in November 1965. I was a sophomore and was living in a sorority house—Alpha Epsilon Phi. I was walking down the stairs to leave the library. Billy Ayers was standing on the first floor and started talking to me.

I thought he was cute. There seemed to be jovial kind of instant connection between us. As I am writing this now I think he must have noticed me before , boys were attracted to me in those days, and planned to try to pick me up. As we struck up a conversation, Ayers told me very quickly about his leftist activism as if he knew this would intrigue me. In fact, I had made attempts to join SDS and the anti Vietnam War Movement on campus during my freshman year but had been put off by what hustlers the young male “activists” were. They talked in lofty ideological abstractions, but they also used their political sophistication as a lure for young women who wanted to be on the right side of the great social issues of the day. I picked up on that cynicism early and so spent much of my freshman year at Michigan trying to figure out how to act. I was politically idealistic back then and believed in Tikkun Olam—that we had to do something to make the world better.

My freshman year at Michigan I attended the Teach-Ins and the campus demonstrations against the Vietnam War and studied hard for my Chemistry exams once a month. At the same time, I decided to pledge a sorority, partially just to prove I could and partially because young women’s options for campus living arrangements were still quite limited in those years.

Despite the caution I’d learned about young ideologues on the make, I was charmed by Bill Ayers and by his savvy talk of politics and the children’s school he was involved with. He asked me to go to a party with him and I did. I have a vague memory of the house where the party was and the people there. I think he got quite drunk and I suppose I drank too. I remember walking home with him. He was very open about himself and told me he was one of 5 children and that he was from Chicago and that his father was rich.

I felt comfortable with Bill. Throughout my life I had always had a friendly buddy-kind of connection with certain boys and felt that I was developing such a connection with him.

THE WEATHER UNDERGROUND

IT SEEMS TO BE OKAY for certain corrupt individuals to violently overthrow the government of the United States whom they declare as racist oppressors, but the same crowd, including Barack Obama and the roll call of Democrats now in power have little empathy at all for the victims of truly oppressive governments who rape, torture, and murder its own citizens. Iraqi Kurds come to mind (and yes, we too, were against the invasion). But frankly, we are merely standing at the near edge of the killing fields to come...

We have been aware of this Obama-Ayers connection for well over a year. Glad somebody is finally grabbing onto the flames and riding the fury that is sure to follow. That somebody has a name, And her name is Sarah Palin. Now perhaps, more genuinely good folks will come to understand where Barack has been spending some of those "missing years" in his official biography.

But time moves along. Creep sets in. So where did the radical left take refuge? In the media and in academia, personifying the long march through the institutions. Students now leave the “education” houses more indoctrinated than educated, more susceptible to influence. And who is the corporate, elitist peddler of this influence? In short—the corporate media.

They couldn’t care less about their responsibilities to the American people, because the American people need fixing. They need to be saved from themselves. Such is the leftist worldview.

Imagine if we discovered that John McCain had launched his career from the Unabomber’s front porch. Do you think he would still be a reasonable presidential candidate? Oh course, some hide and seekers might, probably those same hide and seekers who think an Obama candidacy is a viable option for sane and dare I say it—patriotic—Americans.

One question remains. How can candidate Obama be the most liberal US Senator as well as this year's designated corporate shill for the banking interests who control the media, Wall Street, the Federal Reserve, and most of the other institutions that matter in the financial life of this nation and Western capitalism at large?

Perhaps this is our answer. Malleability and "transitional fall guy" are key concepts here that may encourage thought. The puppetmasters know no shame, and everybody wants to be a star. A loathsome result, this dichotomy often returns.

Meanwhile, there is this story that the McCain campaign will surely exploit in the coming days:

It seems that Obama was a founding member of the board of Public Allies (which was nothing more than a boot camp for radicalizing America's youth) in 1992, resigning before his wife became executive director of the Chicago chapter of Public Allies in 1993. Obama plans to use this nonprofit group, which he features on his campaign Web site, as the model for a national service corps. He calls his Orwellian program, "Universal Voluntary Public Service."

FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION

HERE'S A FUNNY parody of the Facebook culture, but with a twist. It's called BarackBook, and if you're not careful, it will set your pants on fire. But don't take my word for it. Step into the light.

All is not lost, yet. Noted columnist Thomas Sowell last month scored a direct hit in pointing out that the gist of the Barack Obama candidacy is his rhetorical flair which often borders on sheer wizardry except for those times when his teleprompter hits a glitch. Then we are offered a glimpse of the hollow man behind the curtain where designer campaigns are made. In his essay, Idols of Crowds, Sowell quotes the 20th century French philosopher Jean-François Revel:

"A human group transforms itself into a crowd when it suddenly responds to a suggestion rather than to reasoning, to an image rather than to an idea, to an affirmation rather than to proof, to the repetition of a phrase rather than to arguments, to prestige rather than to competence."

Revel was not referring to the United States when he wrote those words, nor to his own France, but to human beings in general. He was certainly not referring to Barack Obama, whom he probably never heard of, since Revel died last year.

To find anything comparable to crowds' euphoric reactions to Obama, you would have to go back to old newsreels of German crowds in the 1930s, with their adulation of their fuehrer, Adolf Hitler. With hindsight, we can look back on those people with pity, knowing now how many of them would be led to their deaths by the man they idolized.

The exultation of the moment can exact a brutal price after that moment has passed. Nowhere is that truer than when it comes to picking the leader of a nation, which means entrusting that leader with the fate of millions today and of generations yet unborn.

A leader does not have to be evil to lead a country into a catastrophe. Inexperience and incompetence can create very similar results, perhaps even faster in a nuclear age, when even "a small country"—as Senator Obama called Iran—can wreak havoc anywhere in the world, when they are led by suicidal fanatics and supply nuclear weapons to terrorists who are likewise suicidal fanatics.

Barack Obama is truly a phenomenon of our time—a presidential candidate who cannot cite a single serious accomplishment in his entire career, besides advancing his own career with rhetoric.

He has a rhetorical answer for everything. Those of us who talk about the threat of Iran are just engaging in "the politics of fear" according to Obama, something to distract us from "the real issues," such as raising taxes and handing out largesse with the proceeds. Those who have studied the years leading up to World War II have been astonished by how many people and how many countries failed to see what Adolf Hitler was getting ready to do.

Of course, this may explain the Obama mystique, but says nothing about the McCain-Palin draw. I'll take a shot at laying out the difference. Common wisdom dictates that putting trust in the McCain-Palin ticket is just a politics as usual afterthought, but more and more, while neither McCain nor Palin have done much of a job articulating a clear vision of what they intend to accomplish in the next four years, the decision of supporting the Republican ticket for many of the independents is most likely an anti-Obama impulse.

Outside of the party diehards, most people simply feel safer with the Republicans, right or wrong. The Democratic ship of state is crawling with fever-carrying rats. Senator Obama is largely a political unknown, propped up by the MSM protecting with secrecy the damaging radicalism of his life. Frankly, if Obama would step up with full honesty to address his whole biography, he might turn a few more heads. Unfortunately for his ambition, full disclosure might sink his campaign for the presidency, forever.Then again, it might not. But dishonesty will catch up to him sooner or later.

For his family's sake, let's hope he loses this election cycle. That would give him time to regroup and rethink his approach in real leadership, not some mystical carpet ride he seems to have floated this season. But from all I've learned from Democratic Party front liners during this extraordinarily long campaign, Barack Obama believes he has already arrived like a thief in the night. Lord help us all.

Senator, I've read a few books myself, and you sir, are no Huey P. Long.

OBAMA'S RADICAL COMRADES

DESPITE HAVING AUTHORED two autobiographies, Barack Obama has never written about his most important executive experience. From 1995 to 1999, he led an education foundation called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC), and remained on the board until 2001. The group poured more than $100 million into the hands of community organizers and radical education activists.

This story of course, is very old news to anyone with a dial-up account or better except to the Rip van Winkles working three point five jobs just to keep a roof over theirs and their families' heads. But the Two-Fisted Quorum is relieved to see that someone, even if it is those same corporate longshank boys deeply rooted in the Obama stump that have ignored or whitewashed his campaign to date, have finally turned their duplicitous attention spans to this story.

Guess they just wanted to sell more papers, grab more viewers, burn more bridges, keeping the game rigged for yet another photo finish, regardless of the steep price to true democracy now debatedly in ruins thanks to the collusion of the media in this year's race. The American electorate deserves better. With continuing vapidness, Obama seems to be saying he is entitled to be POTUS, even though he has dismissed nearly every one of his early campaign promises. That leaves the dangling question, just whose surrogate is Barack Obama? So, please read on...

The CAC was the brainchild of Bill Ayers, a founder of the Weather Underground in the 1960s. Among other feats, Mr. Ayers and his cohorts bombed the Pentagon, and he has never expressed regret for his actions. Barack Obama's first run for the Illinois State Senate was launched at a 1995 gathering at Mr. Ayers's home.

The Obama campaign has struggled to downplay that association.

Last April, Sen. Obama dismissed Mr. Ayers as just "a guy who lives in my neighborhood," and "not somebody who I exchange ideas with on a regular basis." Yet documents in the CAC archives make clear that Mr. Ayers and Mr. Obama were partners in the CAC. Those archives are housed in the Richard J. Daley Library at the University of Illinois at Chicago and I've recently spent days looking through them.

This is false. The facts, however, will spotlight some things about Obama’s "community organizer" days. If you read the Stanley Kurtz article in the WSJ, he makes the Ayers link very clear. The record will show that William Ayers and Barack Obama funneled millions to ACORN and other groups, including teachers and parents who were willing to “educate” children in their radical philosophy. Groups that did not cooperate went unsubsidized. Mao anyone?

The Chicago Annenberg Challenge was created ostensibly to improve Chicago's public schools. The funding came from a national education initiative by Ambassador Walter Annenberg. In early 1995, Mr. Obama was appointed the first chairman of the board, which handled fiscal matters. Mr. Ayers co-chaired the foundation's other key body, the "Collaborative," which shaped education policy.
