LIEBERMAN MAY LEAVE PARTY

Joe Lieberman
In a wide-ranging NewsMax interview, former Democratic VP nominee Joe Lieberman talked about the need to elect John McCain in November, including:

  • It’s important for the political process to question Obama’s ties to former Weather Underground bomber Bill Ayers: “I think these are very fair questions and it’s now up to Senator Obama to answer them.”

  • Barack Obama is clearly ‘not ready’ yet to be commander in chief, and the country’s adversaries, including Iran “will not fear him” if he were to become president.

  • McCain needs to persuade voters that “based on his record, that he really is the one who will change Washington, and Washington truly needs to be changed.”

  • McCain should tout his economic plan that will emphasize tax cuts and job creation—exactly what a troubled economy needs. He said it would be foolhardy to raise taxes in a recession, as Obama has promised.

  • The Republicans must emphasize that his plan for energy independence will create “hundreds of thousands, I think millions of new jobs.”

Asked if he may leave his party and join with Senate Republicans, Lieberman said he had no immediate plans to make that move, but said he would consider it at a later date.

“The Democratic Party of today is not the Democratic Party that I joined in the '60s under my hero President Kennedy, and it’s not the Democratic Party of my dear friend Bill Clinton,” Lieberman said.

Of course, Lieberman, left out quite a few other dangling issues for the Obama Democrats, including his rather untidy Odinga connection, which has actually been public for some time now, but is only just coming to the top of the boil with Fox News opinionmaker Sean Hannity now on the snarl with some additional damaging news thanks to investigative author Jerome Corsi's recent adventures in Kenya.

    MORE ODINGA MESS FOR OBAMA

DID YOU READ our previous post? If not, please oblige. Then face some facts about our Democratic nominee.

Does not this Obama-Odinga relationship, just like so many of his past relationships, barrel directly to the question of Obama's oft-stated position of his supposed superior judgement? Of course it does. And no, his judgment is not only not superior in any sense of the word, and is not even ordinary, but is demonstrably suspect.

Raila Odinga, running on the slogan—Agent of Change—lost the race for President of Kenya in December 2007 and shortly thereafter waged a campaign of widespread ethnic warfare in protest of this loss. Following the post-electoral crisis that resulted in the deaths of 1,500 people and the displacement of 600,000 more, Odinga took office as Prime Minister, at the head of a national unity government, in April 2008.

Read more in this posting by Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs—which is also home to a frightening exposé of the candidate's citizenship controversy, as well.

To be clear about this, on August 2007, Odinga signed an agreement with Islamic extremists to institute Islamic Law should he be elected President of Kenya, and he vowed to end cooperation with the United States in the war against terror. We have one question. Why did the junior senator from Illinois actively campaign for him on the American tax dollar? When Obama went to Kenya in August of 2006, he was hosted by Raila and spoke in praise of him at rallies in Nairobi…

Obama’s bias for his fellow Luo (tribe) was so blatant that a Kenya government spokesman denounced Obama during his visit as Raila’s “stooge.”

Obama’s older brother still lives in Kenya. Abongo “Roy” Obama is a Luo activist and a militant Muslim who argues that the black man must “liberate himself from the poisoning influences of European culture.” (sounds a bit like Reverend Jeremiah Wright, doesn’t he?

To further undermine democratic elections, our own democratically elected president, Bush, as well as the extremely undemocratically appointed EU beaurocrats urged power sharing between Odinga and the duly elected Mwai Kibaki:

Asked in a Reuters interview whether Kibaki and Odinga should share power, President Bush remarked: “I believe that they have an opportunity to come together in some kind of arrangement that will help heal the wounds of a closely divided election.”

The European Union urged them to form a coalition government, a plan that was then put into play.

Imagine having foreign nations demand that John Kerry or Al Gore share power with Bush—or Obama share with McCain for that matter*#151;if a hotly contested election is the result.

Combine more than two decades of hate inspiring rhetoric of Reverend Wright & Louis Farakhan, the re-education camps and explosive ambitions and experiences of William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn (& their Weather Underground cohorts), the varied and expanding financial links to Middle Eastern/anti-American/pro-sharia interests—with the current democratic nominee. Add a global media industry fully engaged in pro-Obama advocacy under the guise of anti-racism memes.

    A recipe for political pandemonium.

In breaking news, Jerome Corsi, who wrote the book called The Obama Nation went to Kenya recently to dig into more about Obama. He has being jailed by Kenyan immigration officials, who announced today they are releasing but deporting Corsi. The DEmocratic camp has said it has no comment on these developments.

Obama, change you can believe in...

    OBAMA'S ODINGA SCANDAL NOT VETTED

THE CHILLING VIDEO BELOW tells the shocking story of Democratic Party Presidential candidate Barack Obama’s involvement in 2006, while a sitting United States Senator, in the Kenyan presidential campaign of Raila Odinga, who lost, but took power by force, and is now involved in the genocide that is currently eviscerating the African nation.

Obama has acknowledged having had Kenyan citizenship. There is also concern that these campaign activities on foreign soil by an unauthorized American citizen is a violation of the Logan Act. We argue that it is high time to take a critical look at these activities on behalf of Odinga, a Muslim sympathizer who is pushing for the installation of the barbaric Islamic sharia law in this once peaceful and pro-Western nation.

    OBAMA'S RELIGIOUS CONVICTIONS

    Obama
Here's a bit of light reporting by the Washington Post. Read it all. But in savoring the PR of the man who seems to feel peculiarly qualified to lead America in these treacherous times solely because he has smelled the stench of poverty in his own family, and by virtue of mixed race, can solve America's racial puzzle, I suggest we look closer at the man and not so much at the tailored suit he's wearing.

Let's step back. I watched Obama's breathtaking speech at the '04 National Democratic Convention, and like any of the millions of patriotic Americans who watched with me, I was enthralled by the combination of words, the force of delivery, the charm and charisma of this man from Illinois. But one cannot help but wonder, how far this packaged idealism will fly in a world of hidden bombs and brutal treachery, particularly since this article doesn't answer any of the tough questions it only hints at asking. Is it possible that Obama can stride into the White House and become the new Lincoln? It's possible, but so far I haven't seen or heard much since that speech at the Convention to warrant such sketch of wishful thinking.

This article answers none of the questions that have been floating about, including the one about the racist attitudes of the Chicago-based church of which he is a prominent member. The Chicago Sun-Times reports on this matter here. Are Obama's ties to Islam equally entrenched in shadows and undergirded by secrets? It is easy to doubt that these things can be true. But surely, it is better to know that they are false.

    The article..

In his speeches and often on the Internet, the part of Sen. Barack Obama's biography that gets the most attention is not his race but his connections to the Muslim world. Since declaring his candidacy for president in February, Obama, a member of a congregation of the United Church of Christ in Chicago, has had to address assertions that he is a Muslim or that he had received training in Islam in Indonesia, where he lived from ages 6 to 10. While his father was an atheist and his mother did not practice religion, Obama's stepfather did occasionally attend services at a mosque there.

Despite his denials, rumors and e-mails circulating on the Internet continue to allege that Obama (D-Ill.) is a Muslim, a "Muslim plant" in a conspiracy against America, and that, if elected president, he would take the oath of office using a Koran, rather than a Bible, as did Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.), the only Muslim in Congress, when he was sworn in earlier this year.

In campaign appearances, Obama regularly mentions his time living and attending school in Indonesia, and the fact that his paternal grandfather, a Kenyan farmer, was a Muslim. Obama invokes these facts as part of his case that he is prepared to handle foreign policy, despite having been in the Senate for only three years, and that he would literally bring a new face to parts of the world where the United States is not popular.

The son of a white woman from Kansas and a black man from Kenya, Obama was born and spent much of his childhood in Hawaii, and he talks more about his multicultural background than he does about the possibility of being the first African American president, in marked contrast to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), who mentions in most of her stump speeches the prospect of her becoming the first woman to serve as president.

"A lot of my knowledge about foreign affairs is not what I just studied in school. It's actually having the knowledge of how ordinary people in these other countries live," he said earlier this month in Clarion, Iowa.

"The day I'm inaugurated, I think this country looks at itself differently, but the world also looks at America differently," he told another Iowa crowd. "Because I've got a grandmother who lives in a little village in Africa without running water or electricity; because I grew up for part of my formative years in Southeast Asia in the largest Muslim country on Earth."
