WORLD WAR II ALSO A DISASTER?

Here's an interesting take on an old debate offered up by a Human Events reader from the Freat State of Ohio, backing up former Nixon speechwriter, former presidential candidate, and current MSNBC political pundit Patrick Buchanan once again on the "unnecessary war" the latter believes the Second (and First, for that matter) World War to have been.

AMERICA'S INVOLVEMENT in WWII was a total disaster.

The war started when Germany invaded Poland. After millions dead on both sides at the end of the war Poland was turned over to the Soviets. We never even accomplished the initial goal!

Adolph Hitler wanted to deport the Jews. Awful yes, but if we would have accepted them we would have gotten a million educated immigrants. Better than the millions of uneducated immigrants we get today. After Hitler's death the Germans would have gotten back to sanity. With the death of millions of Europeans, the Middle Eastern nations were able to rise to more power. This is also the reason millions of Muslims have been immigrating to Europe.

With the invasion of Muslims and the low birth rate of Europeans indigenous Europe will cease to exist in a generation. WWII may have very well be the seed that lead to the extinction of indigenous Europe. Remember the Holocaust didn't start until well after the war started and might never had happened if there had not been a war. So don't use the Holocaust as a reason for the war.

The Japanese front is even a more obvious failure. We never should have stuck our nose into the orient's business. We kicked the Japanese out of China, thus letting the Communist take over. This lead to Mao's murder of about 100 million Chinese. This is no improvement over the Japanese controlling China. The new Japanese Empire would have collapsed eventually, like all empires do. We didn't need to kill millions to speed it up.

Millions dead for no improvement at all and probably made things worse. This is nobody's definition of success.

DIVINING THE MESSENGER OF CHANGE

The second paragraph of this comment found at Pajamas Media is rather amusing, and probably more correct than not.

“GUYS, I'VE BEEN severely depressed for the past several days. It’s unbelievable to me that a person with the character (deceit, conceit), beliefs (wealth redistribution, well documented hatred for this country, its past and its values), current behavior (flag, anthem), explicit plans (destruction of this country’s economy, remaking of this country’s constitution) and well documented past and current alliances and explicitly pledged allegiances, how a man like that can come within even a sniffing distance of congress let alone presidency. I think he should be impeached for perjury upon his being sworn into office for “protecting the Constitution” which he declared to be shameful, and for “defending against terrorists foreign and domestic” for his middle-east plans and obvious associations with the domestic type.

All of this because of 20 somethings who took their schooling from Ayers-like “teachers”, 30-somethings who think that all of this is for free and will last forever, 40-somethings who want to look so open-minded that their brains fall out through the opening, 50-somethings who want to look and behave like their 20 something children, and 60-70 somethings for being senile and re-living their never truly existing glorious revolutionary youth.

It’s revolting.

BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE

There is the old story about a man whose family belonged to the German aristocracy prior to World War II, owning a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism.

“Very few people were true Nazis “he said,” but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.”

We are told again and again by “experts” and “talking heads” that Islam is the religion of peace, and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Yet when we glance at at map we see Islam is on the march worldwide, and violence is in its step. Yet, even George Bush speaks of the religion of peace, as if the American people are too stupid to look around and note the discrepancies for themselves.

Although this unqualified assertion of majority of Muslims being peaceful may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, take the edge off our fear which is attacked as irrational, and meant to somehow diminish the spectre of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam. The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history, and we are told to ignore our senses..

It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honour kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. The hard quantifiable fact is that the “peaceful majority”, the “silent majority”, is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China’s huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.

And, who can forget Rwanda , which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were “peace loving”?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence. Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don’t speak up, because like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghanis, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late.

As for us who watch it all unfold; we must pay attention to the only group that counts; the fanatics who threaten our way of life. Here are some intuitions with regard to the coming strife of all-out war:

The Netherlands not long ago were, as was the entirety of Europe, underfoot and oppressed of the barbaric Third Reich. Not unlike their European counterparts, they, once again, suffer from a not dissimilar lack of foresight. The Islamists, along with their leftist aiders and abettors, cry out, demanding Fitna be banned—and the handwringing begins with frivolous earnest.

The airy Euros insist on digging the proverbial hole deeper and deeper. This has been an inherent mindset for a century, if not more. Then, without shame, they will beg the big, bad wolf called America to disinter them from the grave in which they, blindly, entombed themselves.

This is not to be smug—America, and without doubt, her neighbor to the north, also wobble when it comes to dealing with Islam, radical or not—finding themselves rooted in the insanity of political-correctness and gross expediency.

Question of the day: How many leftists and other Islamist apologists will view Fitna?

I fear far more of them are secreting personal Qu'rans and prayer mats under their beds for the day, they hope, of capitulation. After all, they rationalize, this hated capitalism will also fall in this false flag scenario.

WAR THEORY 101

The question among Westerners with the keen sense of what's happening in the world today, "Why don't the democracies stop pandering to the Muslims and start taking corrective measures? There is little doubt that if the Western societies chose to confront Islam on Islam’s terms, the conflict would be over in a very short order."

And most of those same folks agree that this global conflagration would be over in short order, but not until the West returns to logic and begins fighting to win for the sake of its own survival as it did with Germany and Japan in WWII, and quit fighting to enforce a superficial peace mandated by the U.N, in Korea, Vietnam, Bosnia, Kuwait, Somalia...

War is actually understood and is not some mysterious creature open for daft speculation. Unless one completely destroys the aggressive population's will to continue the fight, one cannot achieve peace. And once victory is achieved, and and the vanquished is allowed to re-establish a government, one does not let them incorporate the reason for the war into their "new" constitution. In Germany and Japan, the Allies told the defeated what could and could not go into their new constitutions. This meant Naziism and Shintoism, respectively. Yet in Afghanistan and Iraq, the US has allowed these weak governments to base their constitutions on Sharia which is what caused the problem in the first place.

This flaw in war science is why the US hasn't "won" in the past 60 years.

MONITORING THE HABITUAL LEFT

The political Left alliance with IslamoFascism is very similar to the Nazi-Soviet alliance of 1939. Most of the so-called Communists at the time considered the West the enemy (for demented ideological reasons) and even Stalin refused to believe Churchill when Churchill warned Stalin that the Nazis were going to attack the USSR on June 22, 1941. The British intelligence had Ultra which broke the Nazi code and an intelligence agent in Germany named "Lucy".

The left will be devoured by IslamoFascism as was Stalin in 1941 and only the "liberal" Western Democracies will save them from themselves. History is repeating itself here.

The political Left's extreme is motivated by ideology, as were the Communists who allied themselves with the Fascists in the late 1930's-early 40's. There was actually a leftist group picketing in front of the White House on June 22, 1941, carrying placards protesting Lend-Lease and any American involvement in WW2, protesting any aid to England. The same protesters (the next day-6/23/1941) had placards (I wish I had the film handy) calling for US involvement in the war and aid to Britain and the USSR. We are dealing with similar demented Leftists and Islamofascists in this matter. There is no reasoning with such people. It's all about "beliefs" with them.
